I wish my current perspective, my stage of development (spiritual, human, or othewise) was so conclusive and all seeing that It accounted for all other points of view. The claims of Buddhism (and of David Hume, for that matter) are not ultimately truth claims but rather phenomenological descriptions. You may be right from where you stand, from your current personal perspective. But that perspective can radically change in an instant. To believe that from your temporary and contingent perspective that you can make universal truth claims of others' inner experience is bordering on the chauvinistic. You make the common mistake of judging one's spiritual state while disregarding their particular stage of spiritual development (i.e. perspective), including your own.
